How to make gold? The big question for all WOW players. There are many ways to succeed in World of Warcraft, but they all start with a simple rule that guarantees your way to the top of your server’s list of gold experts.
The only rule is: start making gold by saving it!
You must save your gold at the beginning of your journey to the 50,000 coins in the bank. If you spend more than you earn, you won’t be able to reinvest it, your money won’t work for you, and even if you farm it all day, you’ll always be broke.
I get questions like this all the time:
“Hello Alon, I have a witch character and spend too much gold. Can you help me? Please…”
This is how you do it:
First things first, you should always answer the following questions if you’re looking for an answer from your gold crafting guru: What level are you? And do you have other characters? What are your professions? And what are you spending gold on? Now, before you start looking for a guru and send him your answer, and so you can start getting some gold fast, here are some tips for you on how to save your gold:
- Don’t buy any items if you are below level 40-45, you’ll beat them by 3-5 levels (that’s only a few hours of game time) and you can get decent items from the quest.
- Don’t buy any items if you are above level 55 (and have WOTLK), at 60 (or 57 for early risers) you will get all new green gear which is stronger than the epic items you will have for level 55-60
- If you only have 1 character get 1 or 2 more and level them all together, when you start a new character start skinning and mining you will get a lot of gold from those two. You want to level 2 or 3 characters together because this way you will get more of the things you need (look for) so you don’t have to buy them, also since you will play at 200% EXP you will level up faster.
The only thing you need gold for is to buy your skills and recipes. The only expense you should have is the mount at level 40 –> 30 –> 20 (at this rate Blizard will make it a level 1).
There’s no reason to spend your gold on anything else!
