Sports changing the face of feminism: a male look at Sochi 2014

From the moments of my birth, or perhaps from the moment I began to understand the things around me, I have always lived with the conception and preaching of the Bible which is that “God found Adam alone and alone, then he gave him Adam a woman (Eve) to be his companion”. So actually two personas were created, but of course one was created with a library of the other. Maybe it’s a good reason to say that they are weaker, but just like the bible, there is also a phrase that I grew up with that really contrasts with what the bible has thought of me and that is: everything that a man can do. , a woman can two better.

Maybe this is correct because we have women in all walks of life doing the same things as men and they seem to be in control of society as I understand it because they are treated more preferentially. If you doubt me, then you should keep in mind that it’s legal for a woman to hit a man in most cases and it’s not considered anything, but for a woman to get hit by a man actually gets him in trouble. However, feminism of this nature has been accounted for in Western nations, unlike the Arab and African world, where men still abusively dominate women and liberate themselves.

The interesting thing is that sports could be changing this face. From the very beginning, Russia has a lot to prove to the world. That they are not the Soviet past, but the present democracy; that they are not the masculine and dominant society; instead, they understand the nature of nurturing the people around them; and, of course, that they can successfully host world sports like the Olympics without any worries. Well, they have succeeded in doing all of this with an added flavor and that is to present the first “women’s skydive” that women have never taken part in in over 90 years.

Hey, don’t get carried away by that, you must understand that this success did not come so easy, but it was fought hard by many women like the ones you are reading this and the fight lasted for decades.

Thus, I begin to understand and also to believe that sport is really communicating and promoting change, feminism, equality and gender unity. Women can do anything men can do. They are in the military, they are leaders, they suffered slavery as men too, they are in our homes, our schools, communities, countries and every part of our lives. So why should they be left out in some cases? I think what Russia and the Olympics board have done is a great social change initiative that counties, communities, businesses and families that unite women with some sense of inferiority should learn from. All human beings in the world are now products of women. They gave birth to governors, presidents, senators, etc., but are they still left out in any society? That is totally unfair and the world should admire Russia in that point of view with reference to Sochi 2014. This is the time when women all over the world should be respected and given their rights in society equally and Justice. Also to all the women in the world, you can fight for 80 years without winning the battle, but those who fought for women jumping in the sky ask you to try one more time. Yes! Never give up! Change must take place, but you have a role to play.
