How much does it cost to wrap my car?

Cars come in different shapes, sizes, models, colors, and makes. I’m often asked many times, “How much would it cost to wrap my car?” And all those times, I have to dig deep with these potential clients about their different needs and wants. Many beginners often think that car wraps are uniformly priced, varying by size, but there is much more to it than they realize. Let me break you down here.

Car model:

As mentioned above, all cars are different. Take, for example, a Volkswagen Golf. Others may see just a standard hatchback, but as professional car wraps, we have to look beyond the body type. First of all, we have to break down the trim level. Does the car have a body kit? Are there clear changes to the style? Is there a sunroof? What kind of bumper does it have? Are the headlights different? Are there any scratches, dents or old marks on the car? These are just some of the questions we need to be able to answer, which is why we can never give proper quotes, unless we see the vehicle in person. Sometimes we can offer quotes on the spot, as some vehicles do not differ, but this is a rare case.

Vinyl Type:

This, fortunately for me, is much easier for us to break down. A good car wrap company, like us, should have a complete database of all our available material. The material can alter the price quite a bit. Depending on the finish, such as matte black, glossy blue, metallic red, satin yellow, chrome orange, etc., all of which can affect the price. The brand of the material can also affect the price. Depending on where you go, some shops may use cheap, inferior brand vinyls. Fortunately, companies with a high degree of care use only the best, and vinyl exclusively comes from 3M and / or Avery Dennison, who are some of the largest suppliers of vinyl products and adhesives in the world. It’s important to make sure that wherever you wrap your car, the shop uses brands like 3M, Avery Dennison, Oracal, and / or Arlon. These are the best shelf brands that ensure your wrap not only looks good, but also looks good for a long period of time.

Body panel:

This may be an odd consideration, but sometimes, the car wrap business can get customers who just want to wrap specific parts of their vehicles. Parts like the roof, door handles, and hood are the most requested option. Decals and / or decals are also requested, mainly stripes running down the body panel or side skirts. This, combined with the different custom decals we can design, often goes into the final decision making as part of the car vinyl costs.
