Apple iPad 3TB Get Retina Display Says LG Electronics CEO

Apple’s latest tablet on the market, the iPad 2, came with plenty of surprises and disappointments. One of the features that fans have been waiting for was the retina display that is currently on the Apple iPhone 4. If you bought the iPad 2, you may regret the purchase, especially if you already had the original iPad released because it was more of an evolution. what a revolution

Rumors have been circulating around the web and have kept fans buzzing about a likely release date and upcoming specs for the iPad 3, which is supposed to be substantially upgraded over both the iPad and iPad 2. One of the features more prominent than fans have come to expect because it’s actually the retina display because that beautiful, rich iPhone 4 screen would look even more amazing on the larger iPad 3 screen.

Apple fan and blogger John Gruber was largely responsible for the iPad 3 rumors that swirled even before the iPad 2 hit stores in March. Recently, LG and Gruber have offered some hints about the iPad 3, including the coveted retina display. It’s your choice who to believe, but since LG currently manufactures for Apple, you may want to give them more weight for your perception.

LG CEO Young Soo Kwon hinted at the inclusion of the retina display when he stated, “more smartphone manufacturers will release new models that employ LG’s Retina display that has been used in iPhones and iPads.” It seems that Mr. Kwon may have slipped in here because there is currently no retina display on an iPad, however the iPad 3 is likely in the research and development pipeline. However, it’s a safe bet to say that it’s probably more towards the development phase.

Kwon’s statement was heard during an interview with Korean Times. If he’s been waiting for the retina display on the big screen iPad 3 that should come with a plethora of other sought-after features, then he may be in luck. It looks like this screen will make its way into the bezel of Apple’s latest tablet, the release date of which is still unknown at this point.

Further bolstering this rumor is the fact that Samsung and Apple are currently still engaged in a legal battle that simply won’t come to a final settlement or settlement. Apple called it foul once long-time partner Samsung launched the Galaxy line of smartphones and tablets, claiming they were too similar to Apple devices. LG would be the perfect manufacturer to step up and design a higher resolution capable retina display for the iPad 3. The current rumored display exceeds 2048 x 1536 pixels! If some of the other rumors that are causing a stir on the web come true; then the iPad 3 will certainly be worth every penny.

Recent prototypes show an iPad 3 with a curved back and somewhat of an evolution of the look of the iPhone 4. It appears slimmer and gives it that professional look we all expected from the iPad 2. Delays and others Internal problems were blamed for many features that didn’t make it to the iPad 2, leaving them held back and further developed on Apple’s iPad 3.
